Peaches Geldof, writer, model, TV personality, socialite, and second daughter of Bob Geldofand Paula Yates (who died in 2000 of a drug overdose), was found dead in her home in Wrotham, Kent, England that she shared with husband Thomas Cohen and sons Astala andPhaedra, who are due to turn one and two years old this month, respectively. The cause of Peaches’ tragic death is still unknown. Police responded earlier to a call in concern of the welfare of a young woman. When authorities arrived on the scene, they realized it was Ms. Geldof who was in trouble. “At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden,”
Kent police said in a statement. Peaches’ dather, Bob Geldof has already realeased a statement about the heartbreaking death of his young daughter. “Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken.” (Grazia)
